Course Description:

Using both psychoanalytic writing and a case conference format, participants will examine psychoanalytic perspectives on SUDs and deepen their understanding of the psychodynamic underpinnings of their own cases.

Course Objectives:

  1. Be able to identify 3 common transference and countertransference constellations that tend to arise in the treatment of SUDs.
