About the Course:
This course introduces the key schools of thought within the psychoanalytic tradition, including Freud, Ego psychology, Klein, Object relations, Winnicott, and others. We will explore the similarities and differences between these theories in order to foster a comprehensive understanding of the diverse perspectives within psychoanalysis.
This ongoing course will begin on February 14th and continue through March 21st. The course will meet each Friday during the 6 week duration from 8:30 am – 10:00 am PST. This course will take place on Zoom.
Required reading: Freud and Beyond: A History of Modern Psychoanalytic Thought by Stephen A. Mitchell and Margaret J. Black
