Attendees will explore Griffin Hansbury’s paper, The masculine
vaginal: Working with queer men’s embodiment at the transgender edge (2017) as a conduit for
both thinking about their own gendered experiences and clinical stances toward patients’
gendered presentations.
Course Objectives:
- Attendees will be able to define Hansbury’s concept of the transgender edge of experience.
- Attendees will be able to describe Hansbury’s concept of the masculine vaginal.
- Attendees will be able to apply Hansbury’s concepts to wider gendered experiences in their own
clinical work.
3 CE Credits Awarded Upon Completion
