Newport Psychoanalytic Institute offers two one year certificate programs designed to enhance the practice of psychotherapists by integrating classical and contemporary theories of psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

Clinical Experience & Supervision: Participants present their cases to senior faculty and graduate analysts, applying their coursework practically.
These programs provide a comprehensive blend of theory and practical application, enabling participants to develop a deeper understanding and proficiency in psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
Psychologists, MFTs and LCSWs: The Newport Psychoanalytic Institute is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Newport Psychoanalytic Institute maintains responsibility for this course series and its content. Full attendance is required for psychologists to receive credit; partial credit may not be awarded based on APA guidelines.
